We highly encourage taking public transit, rideshare, or your bike to the venue. Here are the key details for your reference:
Bike:
There will be ample bike parking available on-site and near the main entrance on Blackhawk street.
Public Transportation:
Division/Milwaukee blue line stop is .7 miles away.
North/Clybourn red line stop is .9 miles away.
Damen blue line stop is 1.4 miles away.
Several buses make stops near The Salt Shed, including the 70 (Division), 72 (North), and 9 (Ashland). There may be other options depending on your location.
Rideshare:
We will have a designated area for rideshare pick-ups and drop offs, along Magnolia Ave right near venue entry.

There are a number of parking options available near the Salt Shed, including:
Free street parking, which is available on a first come, first served basis.
A variety of paid parking. For options and availability, please visit Spot Hero.

There are a number of hotels nearby, but we have a partnership with Hyatt Place Wicker Park for discounted accommodations.

You should purchase tickets through our website, which will link you to Ticketmaster.
Any tickets not purchased through our website/Ticketmaster are considered third-party tickets. This includes tickets from sites like Stubhub, Vivid Seats, and more.
For the best customer experience, please avoid purchasing from third-party websites if at all possible.

Yes! We are excited to say we have box office hours every week, where you’ll have the ability to purchase reduced-fee tickets. We know the ticketing landscape is challenging, but we’re hopeful this will help make the purchasing process less painful and more manageable.
To make sure we’re getting these tickets into the hands of our true Salt Shed fans, all ticket purchases made for these reduced-fee tickets at our box office will be limited to two (2) tickets per person. If we suspect the purchaser intends to resell these tickets, we do reserve the right to refuse service to this individual.
We have regular box office sales hours from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM on any night there is a show at the Salt Shed.
In addition to our regular box office hours on show nights, we will have our box office open every Friday from 9:30am to 2:00pm.
Our box office is located near 1200 W Blackhawk, which is located by the main gate at the Salt Shed. -
The age limit for each show varies and will be noted on the ticketing page.
A minor can attend any show as long as accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Prohibited Items:
To ensure the safety and security of all patrons, staff, vendors, and performers at the Salt Shed, the following items are strictly prohibited from being brought into the venue.
Bags and backpacks larger than a 12” x 12” x 6”
Weapons (knives, guns, chains, self-defense keychains, pepper spray, sharp objects, or any item that can be construed as a weapon)
Outside food or beverage
Glass or metal containers of any kind
All types of chairs, including strollers and car seats
All hard-sided coolers, briefcases, and containers, regardless of size
Video or audio recording devices
Cameras with an external flash or detachable lens
Illegal substances/drugs of any kind, including legal drugs without proper labels
Fireworks or any other incendiary device
Laptops and tablets
Flyers and stickers
Umbrellas (any size)
Sticks, poles, selfie sticks, tripods, or Go Pros
Oversized signs (larger than 8.5”’ x 11”), flags, or signs on sticks are prohibited. All signs are subject to venue approval and must not obstruct the view of other guests.
Bullhorns or noise makers
Laser pens or products of any type
Large squire guns, bubble guns, hula hoops
Inflatable objects
Skateboard, rollerblades, or shoes with wheels
Large and insulated helmets, including motorcycle helmets
Graffiti or paint markers are strictly prohibited. Any act of vandalism will be immediately reported to the authorities and prosecuted accordingly
Any item deemed dangerous or inappropriate depending on the show’s policies or the Salt Shed’s discretion.
Entry Policy:
Security personnel have the authority to inspect bags and perform undergo security screenings at any entry point.
Patrons found in possession of prohibited items will be denied entry until the item is no longer in their possession.
Patrons must dispose of prohibited items prior to re-entering the venue. If they are unable to do so, security personnel will safely confiscate and dispose of the item on
their behalf.
Confiscated items will not be subject to return.
By entering The Salt Shed, patrons agree to comply with the Prohibited Items policy and undergo security screening upon entry and re-entry. Non-compliance will result in denial of entry or removal from the venue at any point, ensuring the safety of all patrons, staff, vendors, and performers while at the Salt Shed.

The Salt Shed will no longer require staff, patrons, and performers to provide proof of vaccination or negative COVID test for entry.
We do encourage vaccinations and masks are highly recommended for all attendees but are not required.
We will honor the specific wishes of our artists, and in cases where that impacts our current policy regarding masks, those ticket holders will be notified.

In compliance with the Smoke-free Illinois Act, The Salt Shed prohibits smoking, including e-cigarettes. Designated smoking areas are available outside on the 2nd-floor rooftop and outside on the Fairgrounds, 15 feet from the building entrance.
Guests who do not comply with this regulation are subject to be ejected from the venue. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a fun, healthy, and safe environment for everyone.

Our entire venue is wheelchair accessible and A.D.A seats are available for purchase in our grandstand via Ticketmaster for all of our indoor shows.

We will have a variety of food and beverage options available for the shows. Our night-of-show indoor market will feature Pizza Friendly Pizza, a bar, and a rotating mix of food trucks in the Fairgrounds.
